The new single-family homes at Red Maple Grove are being developed by the Indianapolis Housing Agency (IHA). The IHA is continually striving to change the face of affordable housing in the city, and in the process it is opening doors for thousands.
IHA offers developments tailored to the lifestyle needs of families and seniors, and each year helps over 7,600 households find quality housing, in 11 residential communities and in neighborhoods throughout Indianapolis. In addition, the agency actively promotes fair housing and strong neighborhoods by fighting housing discrimination.
Red Maple Grove is being developed through a public-private
partnership, funded in part by a HUD HOPE VI grant. The new
homes are being built by two well-established Indianapolis area
builders, Minkis and Innovative Construction Services (ICS),
at the former site of the IHA’s Brokenburr Trails complex.
